Family History: Being the second born son there was little pressure on Antonin in his
early years. He had all the perks of his family name and wealth without any of the troubles
that coming of being the first born heir. He was fiercely protective of his younger sister,
but quite the trouble maker. It was in his fifth year that his elder brother, then twenty,
was expelled from the family. Antonin was suddenly pushed into the lime light, expected to
assume his brother's place.

During the war, Antonin and his family had been living in Czechoslovakia . It was in these
times the Dolohovs did not hold the muggles in such disreguard. They lived on the outskirts
of the town of Tabor , and made many generous donations to its people as the war progressed.

His uncle was kidnapped and later killed by nazis,
hoping to learn more of the occult. They never knew
they had caught a true wizard. The family
had to keep their powers strictly under wraps.
But as German forces moved to take Czechoslovakia they raided their family home, intending to
use it as a base. Antonin was struck in the face by the butt of a gun, scarring his eye, and
his heart.

At this time Antonin had just completed his first year
at Durmstrang. The family, fearing for their safety
moved to England, and Antonin was transfered to Hogwarts.
He spoke very little english at the time, and was much
closer to the younger students with whom he had been sorted
for sometime. He was placed into Slytherin House, and
eventually grew quite happily into his role. Several
years later his sister joined him, she in Hufflepuff.
Erik finished his schooling at Hogwarts as well,
taking his final year, and being placed in the House
of Gryffindor, though it was never quite the same for
him as it was for the younger siblings.

They were able to reclaim what was their’s sometime later, but Antonin never forgave the muggles
for what they had done. The brutality of war was something ingrained in his mind now, and would
follow him for the rest of his years, giving him a taste for sadism and revenge. He’s never had
the remorse a healthy individual should.

His cruelty only increased when his sister, perhaps the only person he truly cared for in those
times, was killed during Voldemort’s first rein, the victim of a skittish auror in a firefight.
It was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but Antonin never forgave this injustice,
and aurors have become a popular target for him.
